Regions and Cities with Highest Birth Rates in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan registered 879,599 live births, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The highest number of births was recorded in Namangan city, with 18,524 children born.

Second place went to Urgut district, where 16,212 newborns were registered during the year. Andijan city followed with 14,581 births.

In Denau district, 12,406 children were born. Samarkand city registered 11,819 newborns over the year.

Pastdargom district recorded 9,782 births, while Kasansky district had 9,159 and Kamashin district 9,115.

Other districts with high birth numbers included Almazar district with 9,035 and Asakinsky district with 8,266 newborns.
