The participants discussed a draft Customs Code in new edition and the draft law “On veterinary”.
Chairperson of the Navoi regional Council of UzLiDeP Ya. Dushanov said that the draft Customs Code is conceptually different from existing Customs Code and was developed based on modern trends. The code envisages wide use of ICT in customs service. He said that adoption of the Customs Code will meet interests of the voters of the party and help to develop entrepreneurship and expand foreign trade.
At the discussion of the draft law “On veterinary”, chairperson of regional veterinary service department Bahtberhan Juzaev said that new terms are introduced into legislation with the new edition. He said that to ensure stability of veterinary service, it sets requirements for preventive, diagnosis and treatment works, lab checks, use of veterinary medicaments and food replenishers, etc. The measures should help to prevent spread of animal diseases in Uzbekistan.
At the event, it was underlined that the draft law plays key role in achieving tasks, put forwarded in pre-election programme of UzLiDeP on support of development of entrepreneurship and farms, diversification and development of agriculture.
