Reforms in education and science discussed in Tashkent
It was organized by Adolat Party in cooperation with its faction at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Center “Strategic Development” and others.
The event was aimed at discussing implementation of action strategy on five key directions of development of Uzbekistan, including in education and science spheres.
During the event, the participants discussed issues of construction, reconstruction, equipment and supply of books to educational institutions.
It was noted that in 2016, it is planned to reconstruct 106 kindergartens, 268 general schools, 44 secondary special and professional education institutions, etc. Nine new schools will be constructed and equipped in 2017.
The Government plans to develop a programme on improving system of higher education, further improving academic programmes, development of independence of higher educational establishments in 2017-2021.
Uzbekistan also plans to develop scientific-pedagogic cadres for higher education institutions in the region.
At the event, the participants also considered role of Adolat Party in development of science and education, as well as implementation of the programmes in the sphere.
