The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued an order on 22 March, according to which the buildings and structures of the detention facility No. 1 in Tashkent will be transferred to the capital’s khokimiyat.

Khokimiyat of Tashkent city within 3 months will demolish the buildings and facilities of the isolator. A modern recreation park will be established on the territory of the former detention facility.

It should be reminded that the investigative isolator No. 1 of Tashkent moved to a new building in Zangiata district of Tashkent region in January 2018.
