Reconstruction of Avayhon mosque in Tashkent completed

The board said in a statement that the reconstruction works started in June 2015 and was completed in short period of time.

The length of the mosque is 23 meters and the width – 16 meters. The mosque can accept some 700 people. All conditions for believers were created at the mosque, including rooms for ablution.

Chairperson of the Board of Muslims of Uzbekistan Usmonhon Alimov attended the opening ceremony of the mosque and performed Friday prayer.
