Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the assistance of the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Secondary Special Education and Bucheon University (Republic of Korea), Bucheon University was founded in Tashkent.

Bucheon University is actively involved in improving the quality of higher education in the country, attaching great importance to the exchange of knowledge between preschool, secondary vocational and higher education institutions.

In this regard, on 1 April 2022, the university hosted the first major international conference on the topic “Raising a new generation in the era of global transformations: challenges and prospects”.

The conference was devoted to the development of a strategy for joint action to improve the quality of higher education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by a total of 200 people from three countries: the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation.

The main purpose of the conference was to discuss issues of cooperation with leading foreign and domestic universities, research and innovation centers, to expand cooperation in the field of training highly qualified personnel.

At the plenary and breakout sessions, reports were heard on identifying current problems and developing recommendations for the development of higher education in Uzbekistan.
