Radisson Hotel Group and MANAR Development to Launch Radisson Hotel within Chorsu MANAR Complex in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) and MANAR Development have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the Chorsu MANAR project, located on the site of the former Chorsu Hotel in central Tashkent. A four-star Radisson-branded hotel is planned as part of the multifunctional complex.

The Chorsu MANAR project is a large-scale development covering over 100,000 m², which will include office and residential spaces as well as a retail and entertainment zone. Total investments are estimated at over US$100 million.

Davron Fayzimatov, CEO of MANAR Development, emphasized the significance of the partnership: “We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group. The Radisson-branded hotel will serve as a key anchor for Chorsu MANAR, enhancing its status as a world-class urban destination. Our goal is to create an architectural complex that becomes a landmark, offering high-quality service and well-developed infrastructure.”

David Jenkins, Vice President of Business Development at Radisson Hotel Group, added: “At Radisson, we seek prime locations for portfolio expansion, and the Chorsu MANAR project in the historic center of Tashkent meets all criteria — scale, prestige, and potential. We are confident that our partnership with MANAR Development will provide guests in Uzbekistan with the Radisson level of service combined with the country’s unique cultural experience.”

The agreement includes implementing international hospitality standards, developing the complex’s infrastructure, and enhancing its appeal to tourists and business visitors in the capital.
