Quartz completes the first quarter with a loss of 15.9 billion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Quartz JSC reported a net loss of 15.9 billion soums for the first quarter of 2024, which was slightly less than a net loss of 16.1 billion soums for the same period 2023.

According to the company’s quarterly report, the net revenue of Quartz JSC increased by 13.6% and amounted to 140.0 billion soums.

Long-term bank loans decreased from 273.7 billion to 197.7 billion soums, and short-term ones decreased from 81.8 billion to 54.6 billion soums. At the same time, short-term loans appeared in the amount of 18.7 billion soums.

The company’s assets decreased by 10.5% in the reporting period and amounted to 722 billion soums. Own capital decreased by 5.7% to 362.8 billion soums.
