Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Quarantine has been extended in Uzbekistan until 15 June. This is stated in the decision of the Special Republican Commission. Moreover, from 1 June, a number of activities are allowed depending on the level of quarantine.
By the decision of the special commission, from 1 June, in the “yellow zones”, the activities of realtors, organizations involved in the training and retraining of drivers, catering establishments serving state institutions, as well as advertising and marketing activities will resume.
In the "green areas" sports and fitness clubs, pensions, motels, children’s camps, hotels (except hostels) will resume work. Since 1 June, they will be allowed to hold weddings and other family celebrations in compliance with sanitary requirements. For violation of the provisional rules for family events, administrative liability is provided.
“At the same time, events can be held only at the place of residence and the number of guests should not exceed 30 people from close relatives,” the headquarters added.
Tightened control over the prohibition of the movement of personal vehicles between the regions of Uzbekistan has been introduced. An exception is the entry and exit from Tashkent to Tashkent region and from Tashkent region to the city of Tashkent.
Accordingly, until 1 September 2020:
- the term of visas issued to foreign citizens and stateless persons,
- the period of stay in the Republic of Uzbekistan for foreign citizens and stateless persons who are entitled to enter without a visa and electronic visa for a certain period;
- the term for the return of foreign vehicles from the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which expired in 2020.
