Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 February 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan Jakhangir Alam.

During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the further development of Uzbek-Bangladesh cooperation in various directions were considered.

A schedule of planned events was agreed between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

The importance of realizing the existing potential for cooperation in the fields of tourism, especially “ziyorat tourism” and textiles, was emphasized.

During the meeting, an exchange of views on the regional agenda also took place.
