Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 February 2020, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the general manager of Bilancia (Netherlands), Jan Vrins.

Bilancia Company is an educational platform for greenhouse management and is engaged in the development of projects in this field around the world.

During the meeting, the results of Jan Vrins’s visit to Uzbekistan were discussed as part of a World Bank-funded project to study and analyze potential opportunities in the creation and development of greenhouses in our country.

Over 6 weeks, many regions of Uzbekistan were visited to form an opinion on the benefits and problematic aspects associated with the development of the greenhouse sector.

Based on the results of a visit to our country, the Bilancia company is considering the possibility of creating a training center for Uzbek farmers and greenhouse specialists based on the existing greenhouse facilities in the Qibray district of Tashkent region. To implement this project, it is planned to use the most modern technologies, including distance learning and direct field training.

During the meeting, an agreement was also reached on continuing cooperation with the Bilancia company on the implementation of an educational project in Uzbekistan.
