Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 March 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov met with Minister of State of the United Kingdom for Europe and North America Leo Docherty via videoconference.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UK on the implementation of the agreements concluded during bilateral political consultations in December 2022.

An exchange of views also took place on the further development of bilateral trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other ties.

The parties reached an agreement to take active efforts to further advance the Uzbek-British relations.
