Prosecutors to serve interest of people

The decree underlined that “Serve for interest of people” is priority of the prosecutors bodies to strengthen legality in the society and realizing efficient supervision on execution of the laws directed at implementing democratic, social-economic reforms, protecting human rights and freedoms.

Special attention will be paid to execution of complex programmes on social-economic development of the territories, revealing and eliminating factors and systematic shortages, hindering reforms.

The prosecutors bodies will support businesses and protect rights and interests of business entities. They will also conduct dialogue with population.

The bodies will ensure targeted social protection of low income families, creation of new jobs, etc.

The decree created new departments, which will deal with execution of social legislation and economic laws.

New post of the Deputy Prosecutor-General, responsible for organization and coordination of activities in analyzing problems of ensuring law and order will be created.
