Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- AKFA Group said that work on a project for a shelter for homeless animals continues. The company faces a major challenge. It intends to provide not only shelter for pets left on the street or in the wrong hands, but we want every four-legged friend to feel at home in the shelter.

When developing the project, AKFA Group specialists took into account the experience of local and foreign shelters and, first of all, the needs of animals. Today we have the results of our work, which we are happy to share.

So, on the territory of 1 hectare, the shelter will be able to accept under its roof up to 1000 pets caught on the street. The project provides for an administrative block and premises for staff, as well as a medical block where pets can receive compulsory vaccinations and other medical assistance. The start of construction of the shelter is scheduled for early January 2021, and we plan to complete the project by 1 May 2021.

- Animals end up in a shelter for various reasons: some were abandoned by their owners, some were lost, and some were even born on the street. Such dogs do not know love and care. But you and I can change this, Kamran Gulamov, First Deputy General Director of AKFA Group, said.
