Programme on repairing multi-storey houses till 2021 approved

The programme was approved by the resolution of the President “On measures on further improving system on maintaining and exploiting multi-storey houses for 2017-2021” from 24 April 2017.

The document includes measures on capital and current repair of places of general use of multi-storey houses, repair and replacement of lifts.

The resolution also approved complex measures on improving system of maintaining, exploiting and repairing multi-storey houses.

It is planned to direct 1.8 trillion soums to these measures. It will be financed due to own resources of the private owners’ association, loans of commercial banks, budgets of the regions, Fund of developing housing and communal services, as well as loans of international financial institutions and leasing.

Uzpromstroybank was determined as the authorized bank, providing financial assistant to housing and communal services.

Uzbek leader recommended commercial banks to provide soft loans to Remontno-Vosstanobitelnaya Slujba and private owners’ associations within the realization of the programme.

The resolution said that the size of mandatory fee, paid to the private owners’ associations, will be determined by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan on annual basis.
