Production of recombinant human insulin and its analogues planned in Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 October 2025, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Abdulla Azizov held a working meeting with representatives of SINTEZ PHARM TECHNOLOGY LLC.

During the talks, the parties discussed the implementation of a project to produce recombinant human insulin and its analogues in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Particular attention was paid to the project’s prospects, its stages of implementation, and the coordination of necessary organizational and investment measures.

It was noted that the company is actively working to attract foreign investment to the project, which will ensure its successful and timely implementation.
