Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the organization of training for candidates for diplomatic positions at the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

In accordance with the Regulations, persons (candidates) selected to the personnel reserve for the purpose of appointment to the following positions are sent to advanced training courses of the Diplomatic Academy:

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan;

Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan in international organizations;

Consul General, Consul;

Counselor-envoy, adviser (including on trade and economic issues), first secretary, second secretary, third secretary, attache of Uzbekistan at diplomatic missions, consular offices, international organizations of foreign countries.

The purpose of advanced training courses is to improve the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of persons selected for the diplomatic personnel reserve.

Training courses are organized in traditional and distance forms.

Students of training courses for advanced training take a final exam after graduation.

Students who successfully pass the exam are issued a state-recognized certificate.
