Procedure Approved for Certification of Music and Physical Education Teachers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has approved the Regulation “On the Procedure for Assessing the Knowledge and Professional Skills of Teachers of Music Culture and Physical Education and Issuing Certificates to Them.”

The document defines the procedure for evaluating teachers’ knowledge and professional competencies in these areas, as well as the rules for issuing qualification certificates.

Certificates are issued electronically by the Agency for Knowledge and Qualifications Assessment and are valid for three years.

Teachers are assigned one of six certificate levels — A+, A, B+, B, C+, or C — based on the results of their practical (creative) exam and testing.

The score thresholds are distributed as follows:
• 70 and above — A+
• 65–69.9 — A
• 60–64.9 — B+
• 55–59.9 — B
• 50–54.9 — C+
• 46–49.9 — C

Holders of B+ level certificates and above are entitled to a salary bonus in accordance with current legislation.
