Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva visited Tashkent region these days. The working group is studying the work being done on the socio-economic development of the territories, improving the well-being of the population, supporting entrepreneurial activity and directly carrying out a dialogue with the people.
In particular, on 1 April 2021, the members of the Working Group studied the work carried out in Buka district to train and employ socially unprotected people, including women, to solve their housing problems, and to protect their health.
At the beginning of the trip, an acquaintance with the activities of a modern greenhouse of the company Agro invest TNA, created by the hydroponic method, took place. It is located in the "yellow" zone - in the Kuldoshtepa makhalla citizens’ gathering.
It should be noted that the total sown area of this greenhouse is 3 hectares, and a computerized control system has been introduced. All equipment is supplied from the Netherlands and Germany. The products grown on a systematic basis are exported to Russia and Kazakhstan.
The working group got acquainted with the process of work in the greenhouse, the conditions created here. In addition, during the conversation with the women, their proposals were heard.
“This energy-intensive greenhouse operates on the principle of waste-free production and produces environmentally friendly products that meet international standards,” said the agronomist’s assistant A. Bokizhonov. - The technology is not only environmentally friendly, but also has a high yield. Our greenhouse employs 53 workers, of whom 43 are women.
After that, the activities of the sewing enterprise "BIRYUZA GROUP" were studied, how the employment of women included in the "women’s notebook" was ensured. In one day, the enterprise produces more than 2 thousand types of children’s clothing, which are sold in the domestic and foreign markets.
“At present, 160 citizens work at our enterprise,” says S. Akhmedova, a specialist of the enterprise. “In particular, favorable conditions have been created for 150 women. Newly hired girls learn to work from experienced craftswomen. Wages are paid on time.
In the course of familiarization with the production processes, the district khokimiyat and responsible workers were given recommendations on increasing such production facilities at the local level, ensuring the employment of unemployed women.
The next item is Yangibog makhalla gathering of citizens. This mahalla is also included in the “red” zone. Various problems have accumulated here that have bothered residents for many years.
The members of the working group visited the house of A. Murodov, who lives in this makhalla. Housewife Dilorom opa is included in the "women’s notebook". Tomatoes, bell peppers and other agricultural products are grown on the family backyard. Livestock is also kept. The makhalla activists noted that social assistance will be provided to the family in the coming days and a greenhouse will be built.
After that, a meeting with activists of the makhalla, women included in the "women’s notebook" was held in secondary school No. 17. During the meeting, various proposals and problems of concern to the population were studied.
In particular, the makhalla activist Sh. Musurmonova noted that the problem with drinking water has not been solved for many years. It is noteworthy that there are several artesian wells on the territory, and the installed water pipes are already outdated. Because of this, the drinking water network is disconnected from the primary source. And the inhabitants bring water from far away all year round. Internal roads are also in need of repair. In addition, there is no kindergarten.
During the conversation, school teacher Sh. Musaeva said that this educational institution needs a hall for holding events, asked for assistance in providing high-speed Internet for online education, access to the necessary electronic information.
To resolve the problems raised, the relevant departments have been given instructions, the implementation of which has been taken under control.
One more aspect. Dilafruz Mamatova, who has three children, was left without work due to the upbringing of young children and family problems that arose. She applied to the “Advisory Center” of the mahalla. After studying her social status, she received training at the regional center free of charge.
- I was fond of sewing, so I decided to start my own business, - says D. Mamatova. - I received a preferential loan in the amount of 15 million soums from the regional branch of the People’s Bank. Now she intends to create three new jobs. I have big plans, in the future I want to expand my business. Thanks to this, I will be able to provide jobs for women who, like me, are included in the “women’s notebook”.
After that, the Chairman of the Senate T. Narbayeva met with the deputies of the regional Kengash of people’s deputies. Attention was focused on strengthening the role of deputies in the work carried out in the context of makhallas, assisting in the study and solution of the problems of women in need of social protection, strengthening families, increasing their social activity.
In addition, the expediency of conducting a full screening examination of women in order to prevent cancer, prevent crime, work with those who are included in the "iron notebook", "women’s notebook", "youth notebook", as well as hearing information from responsible workers in this direction was emphasized. ...
The opinions of the deputies of the Buka regional Kengash of people’s deputies were also heard. In particular, proposals were made to solve problems in the sewerage system, to regulate the dekhkan market of the district, to build sports facilities for the further development of children’s sports.
The Prime Minister was instructed to strengthen the activities of the territorial headquarters to combat coronavirus, create call centers and mobile brigades working around the clock. The task was set to form at least a three-month supply of medicines and protective equipment, to put into operation 60 oxygen stations in the regions, to supply uninterrupted oxygen to the intensive care and intensive care units.

In April-June, it is planned to vaccinate more than 4 million people from risk groups against coronavirus. At the moment, 660 thousand doses of the vaccine have been delivered. The government commission has been instructed to purchase another 3.5 million doses of the Chinese and 1 million doses of the Russian vaccine.
The task was set to constantly inform citizens about the days and places of vaccination at their place of residence.
