Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 December 2022, a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov.

The event was attended by deputies and advisers to the Minister, heads of departments and subordinate organizations of the Ministry.

The course of fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was critically analyzed, the problems hindering the increase in the effectiveness of the department's activities were studied.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening the personnel potential of the ministry system.

Proposals were discussed to improve personnel management mechanisms, improve the skills of existing employees, taking into account modern requirements, attract young specialists, and improve the system of rotation of diplomatic personnel on the principle of "the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - diplomatic work abroad - academic activity."

Based on the results of the meeting, specific instructions were given to responsible persons.
