Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 March 2021, a working group headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva visited Akhangaran district of Tashkent region in order to study the work being done on the socio-economic development of territories, improving the well-being of the population, supporting entrepreneurship and direct communication with the people.
It should be noted that there are a total of 29 mahallas in the region, four of which are included in the "red", 16 - "yellow", 9 - "green" zones.
First, the working group got acquainted with the activities of the sewing workshop, created at the home of the artisan K. Mamatov, who lives in the “yellow” zone - in the Gallakuduk MSG. Skillful seamstresses under the leadership of individual entrepreneur Kh.Mukhamedov carry out orders received from partners from neighboring Tajikistan. And a few days before that, more than 70 thousand headdresses were exported to the Russian Federation.
However, a number of problems have been identified in this makhalin citizens’ gathering. Many families live here in need of social protection, who have lost their breadwinner, and are raising disabled children. During the conversation with the women, it was noted that such enterprising entrepreneurs as Kh.Mukhammedov can help to eliminate them.
In addition, during the conversations held in such mahalla gatherings of citizens of Yalpoktepa and Yonarik, the emphasis was also placed on resolving issues of concern to compatriots. There was an open communication with women who were included in the "women’s notebook".
In particular, G. Turonbaeva works as a nurse in the Akhangaran city hospital. On behalf of her colleagues, she appealed to the President of the Senate to help resolve the issue of unjustified reduction in their salaries. This issue was taken under control, the relevant officials were given instructions.
In addition, the women applied on a number of issues, such as the renovation of the building of a general education school, the solution of family relations, the collection of alimony, the provision of housing and drinking water, and the allocation of loans.
656 people live in 110 houses on Istikbol Street, who, due to the lack of crossing on the Tashkent-Angren railway line, are forced to bypass the 10-kilometer street.
“There are no sports playgrounds in our village so that children can usefully spend their free time,” said T. Alikulova, a resident of the Ziyokor mahalla. - Pupils from the village "Muminabad" get to our school in an hour and a half. On snowy and rainy days, the road takes even longer due to the fact that the internal roads are not repaired. In addition, the movement of public transport has not been established.
In addition, citizens have to fight with another scourge. The Yangi Angren thermal power plant, located next to the makhalla, is emitting hazardous substances, and the newly built greenhouse has caused an increase in the number of flies, which cause great damage to the harvest of vegetables and fruit trees planted in personal plots.
The women also expressed their opinion on how to arrange weddings at a lower cost, and also asked for help in re-establishing the operation of a local rural medical center.
The relevant responsible organizations and departments were given instructions on how to eliminate and take control of all the problems raised at the meeting.
On the same day, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis T. Narbaeva met with the deputies of the Akhangaran District Kengash of People’s Deputies.
The state of work carried out in the region with citizens and families included in the "women’s notebook", "youth notebook" and "iron notebook" is considered. They talked about measures to provide special assistance to women included in the "women’s notebook", the development and implementation of strict control over the implementation of a targeted program based on recommendations given at meetings with women living in disadvantaged areas in need of medical assistance, who expressed a desire to engage in entrepreneurship, those studying work in personal plots to generate income.
Also, the members of the working group got acquainted with the activities of the district headquarters, working in the context of makhallas.
