Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Supply companies will now conduct checks of hot water meters. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

According to the ministry, consumers will no longer need to contact authorities for meter comparison.

Periodic meter checks will be carried out by authorized bodies (proactively).

This change was introduced based on the Cabinet of Ministers' decree No. 847, dated 12 December 2024.

Under the proactive public services, no request is required, and meters will undergo automatic checks.
