Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held a working meeting in the format of a video conference. The delegations of the parties were headed by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin.
The meeting participants noted that 2021 was full of significant events that strengthened bilateral cooperation.
The landmark event of the year was the State visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan on 5-6 December. As a result, a Declaration on Allied Relations between the two countries and a number of other important documents were signed.
In this regard, it was emphasized that the tasks set before the governments will be fulfilled without fail and in full, the Dunyo news agency reported.
During the meeting, the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation were discussed in detail. The progress in the implementation of joint projects in the field of industry, transport, digitalization, energy and water resources was considered.
Particular attention was paid to further strengthening partnerships in education, healthcare, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
