Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 May 2020, within the framework of the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CPS CIS) will be held in a video conference format.
The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov, which will also be attended by the Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan - Ali Asadov, Belarus - Sergey Rumas, Kazakhstan - Askar Mamin, Moldova - Ion Kik, Russia - Mikhail Mishustin, Tajikistan - Kokhir Rasulzoda, vice Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.
The agenda of the meeting of the CPS includes 15 issues of interaction between the CIS member states in various fields.
During the negotiations, the participants will exchange views on relevant areas of cooperation in the economic, transport and logistics, energy, cultural and humanitarian and other fields, as well as discuss joint efforts against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
