Prime Minister of Pakistan to visit Uzbekistan in November

Newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Furkat Sidikov, at the meeting with the Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Senate of Pakistan, Senator Nuzhat Sadiq, said Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will visit Uzbekistan in November.

Sadikov said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Uzbekistan in November is very important and will open new page in the bilateral relations of both countries.

Uzbek envoy noted that Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy excellent bilateral relation and he was keen to improving existing ties. Furkat Sidikov said that as new ambassador of Uzbekistan in Islamabad, his focus in days ahead would be on cooperation in the fields of economy and energy especially renewable energy.
