Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The heads of state discussed the current issues on the bilateral agenda and in regional cooperation.
The parties noted the importance of furthering the economic cooperation projects in priority sectors that are included in the roadmap of mutually advantageous practical interaction between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Particular attention was paid to the continuation of dynamic contacts at the regional and business levels, as well as enhancement of cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The Presidents exchanged views on the current developments in Central Asia, as well as advancement of dialogue within the framework of international and regional institutions, including the CIS and SCO.
The schedule of the upcoming highest-level events was also considered.
