Presidential elections end in Uzbekistan

The members of the election commissions started to count votes. The results on turnout of voters will be announced at 22:00.

It is expected that the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan will announce preliminary results of the presidential elections on 5 December 2016.

It is worth to mention that four candidates competed in the presidential elections – from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen - Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – Hotamjon Ketmonov, the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan "Milly Tiklanish" – Sarvar Otamuratov and the Social-democratic party “Adolat” – Narimon Umarov.
