Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A resolution of the President "On additional measures to ensure healthy nutrition of the population" was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 June 2020, the following are provided free of charge:

- micronutrient powders - children aged 6–23 months in order to enrich the food prepared for them at home;

- vitamin "A" - children aged 6 months to 5 years;

- special drugs for the prevention of helminthiasis - children aged 2-10 years.

From 1 July 2022, the following are provided free of charge:

- iodine preparations - pregnant women and lactating mothers, as well as children aged 3–15 years;

- iron and folic acid preparations - women of fertile age up to 35 years.
