President signs a decree on encouraging participants in World War II

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 April, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On encouraging participants in World War II".

The decree was adopted in connection with the nationwide holiday on 9 May - the Day of Remembrance and Honor, as well as the celebration of the 76th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in World War II 1941-1945 and in order to provide material incentives for participants and disabled veterans.

According to the decree, the Government of Uzbekistan will pay a one-time monetary remuneration to participants and invalids of the Second World War of 1941-1945 in the amount of 12 million soums.
