President Receives Report on Improving Communication Between State Bodies and Citizens
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented with a report on measures aimed at enhancing interaction between government bodies and citizens.
The presentation highlighted that, amid large-scale reforms across all spheres of state and social life, the development of systems for handling citizen appeals, expanding the capacity of People’s Reception Offices, and implementing modern approaches in their work is increasingly important.
Special attention was given to the need for a deeper understanding of public opinion and its integration into decision-making processes. It was emphasized that accurate insights into the sentiments, needs, and expectations of citizens require the use of professional sociological and analytical methods.
This approach is seen as a key factor in obtaining an objective assessment of reform effectiveness and in shaping long-term development programs.
The Head of State stressed that strengthening a culture of dialogue, the ability to listen to citizens, and taking their views into account must remain a core principle of government operations.
It was noted that the task of authorities at all levels is not only to respond promptly to citizen appeals but also to systematically analyze them, compare findings with sociological research, develop solutions, and improve overall communication, thereby enhancing trust between the state and society.
The importance of further strengthening the institutional framework for continuous interaction between authorities and the public, and of creating a modern model integrated with public opinion monitoring systems, was also underlined.
Following the discussion, responsible officials were instructed to refine dialogue mechanisms with citizens and increase the efficiency of handling public appeals.
