President ratifies agreement on extradition with Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On ratification of agreement between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan on extradition” on 30 March 2017.

Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 16 March 2017 and Senate approved it on 28 March 2017.

The agreement was signed in Tashkent on 17 October 2016.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Salahiddin Rabbani signed the document.
