President of Uzbekistan to visit Turkmenistan

Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan held negotiations in Turkmenbashi. The sides will discuss actual issues of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investments, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian and other areas.

The heads of the two countries will exchange views on regional and international agenda.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also visit the national tourist zone Avaza. Children from Uzbekistan are treated here.

Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan plan to sign a number of intergovernmental, interdepartmental and other documents aimed at further development of cooperation in various fields.

Business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will also sign a package of mutually beneficial commercial contracts and agreements.

This will be second visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan in 2017. He paid a state visit to Turkmenistan on 6-7 March.
