Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan, on 3-4 March, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to this country.

The agenda of the upcoming high-level talks includes issues of further development of the Uzbek-Pakistani relations of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation.

Particular attention will be paid to the implementation of joint projects of practical cooperation, primarily in the field of trade, investment, industrial cooperation, transport, logistics, infrastructure and tourism, as well as expanding the program of cultural and humanitarian exchange. An exchange of views on the international and regional agenda will take place.

As a result of the summit, it is planned to adopt a joint declaration and a number of bilateral documents.

In accordance with the program of the visit, meetings of the head of our state with the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, heads of departments and leading companies of this country are also envisaged.
