President of Uzbekistan takes short-term leave
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has taken a short-term leave from work. This was announced by the President’s spokesperson, Sherzod Asadov, on his Telegram channel.
"As of 26 July 2024, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is on short-term leave," Asadov wrote.
It is worth noting that President Mirziyoyev also took a short-term leave in April 2024.
