Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the sidelines of the Tashkent conference, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev.
Issues of further development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthening of traditionally close and friendly relations between the two countries were discussed.
Shahin Mustafayev conveyed to the head of our state sincere greetings and best wishes from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to the issues of building up practical cooperation, primarily in promoting projects in the field of trade, industry, agriculture, transport and logistics, as well as the implementation of cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.
An agreement was reached to hold, in preparation for the upcoming summit at the highest level, the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Council, the organization of the first Interregional Forum.
