President of Uzbekistan Posthumously Awards Junior Sergeant Khosilbek Eshnazarov the “Jasorat” Medal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 March 2026, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, posthumously awarded Junior Sergeant Khosilbek Eshnazarov the “Jasorat” medal.

The decree highlights Eshnazarov’s outstanding service in law enforcement, his valor in combating crime, ensuring public safety and order, and contributing to road safety by preventing traffic accidents.

The document emphasizes the courage and selflessness displayed by the inspector, his conscientious fulfillment of duty with honor, loyalty to his oath, and active role in educating the younger generation in the spirit of love and devotion to the homeland. Eshnazarov served as an inspector in the Road Patrol Service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs in Tashkent.

On 25 February, at 21:46, a 10th-grade student without a driver’s license, driving a BMW M4, struck the traffic inspector while he was performing his official duties. Eshnazarov sustained severe injuries and subsequently passed away in the hospital.
