President of Uzbekistan participates in Summit of Arab-Muslim countries and the US
The summit was attended by the heads of state of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the United States, the UN Secretary General, the League of Arab States, the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf.
The forum contributes to strengthening counteraction to extremism and terrorism, promoting ideas of tolerance, strengthening security, stability and cooperation.
The forum participants discussed issues of ensuring global peace and stability, the joint struggle against terrorism and violence. They also considered the issues of preventing threats to peace, preserving the national and religious values and culture of all countries.
The summit of Arab-Muslim countries and the United States will further enhance the authority of the religion of Islam, expand friendly relations and cooperation between states, strengthen counteraction to terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, smuggling of weapons and narcotic substances.
