President of Uzbekistan orders military call-up

The resolution said that draft-age Uzbek citizens will be called up to the army in February-March 2017.

Citizens, who are fit for fixed-term military service and who are not eligible for deferment or exempt from conscription, but who are not being called up for the armed forces during this call-up are to be enlisted in the mobilization call-up reserve.

Citizens, who have completed their fixed-term military service, are to be transferred to the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan in February-April 2017.
