President of Uzbekistan meets with King of Spain
Uzbek President noted that traditionally friendly relations between the two countries have deep historical roots.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda.
The sides noted important role of high-level dialogue in expanding interstate relations. Regular consultations of foreign ministries allow not only to "reconcile the hours" on topical issues of international and regional policy, but also to develop and agree on a schedule and agenda for future meetings at various levels.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Felipe VI discussed development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the countries.
They also discussed issue of establishing a joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation and holding its first meeting this year in Tashkent.
