Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev may visit nine European countries in 2022. This is stated in the draft Development Strategy for 2022-2026.

In particular, in 2022, issues will be worked out on organizing the President’s visit to Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Scandinavian countries.

Also, work will be carried out to organize the visits of the heads of European countries to Uzbekistan.

The document notes that Uzbekistan may open new diplomatic missions in European countries. The opening of the Uzbek embassy in Sweden will be accelerated. The issue of opening a diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic is being considered.

Measures will be taken to strengthen the material and technical base of a number of diplomatic missions in Austria, Italy, Poland and Latvia by increasing the staff.
