President of Uzbekistan Lays Flowers at Neutrality Monument in Ashgabat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 December, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, participated in a ceremony laying flowers at the Neutrality Monument in Ashgabat.

The complex, which includes the Neutrality Monument and the “30th Anniversary of Neutrality” memorial, symbolizes Turkmenistan’s commitment to humanistic ideals, principles of peace, creation, and goodwill.

As part of preparations for the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust, the complex, including the adjacent landscaped park area, was fully renovated and officially inaugurated.

President Mirziyoyev, together with the heads of other foreign delegations, laid flowers at the monument, paying tribute to the symbols of peace and friendship.
