President of Uzbekistan familiarizes himself with work on reconstruction of Urgench Airport

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Khorezm region on 14 October 2017 to get acquainted with the socio-economic development of the region and set tasks for the future.

Within the framework of reconstruction project of the airport, the necessary conditions are created for a worthy meeting of official delegations and foreign guests, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work carried out in this direction and plans for the future.

The President of Uzbekistan gave instructions to improve the airport’s activities and further improve the facilities for passengers.
