President of Uzbekistan expresses condolences to Putin

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed frank condolences to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in connection with the death of the Ambassador of Russia to Turkey Andrei Karlov in the result of assassination, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The message of the Uzbek President said: “We strongly condemn the acts of terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations. This tragedy reiterates the need for concerted efforts of the international community to combat this inhuman challenges of our time. In these mournful days, Uzbekistan expresses solidarity to the people of Russia.”

Uzbek leader conveyed words of deep sympathy and support to the families and friends of the Russian diplomat.
