Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences to the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Elizabeth II.

“Please accept my deepest condolences and words of the most sincere sympathy for the passing of your husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,” the letter reads.

“At this unfortunate moment for the people of Great Britain, I share with all my heart the pain of your loss. Strength and fortitude to Your Majesty and to all members of the royal family at this difficult time, the Uzbek leader said.
