Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of industrial property protection.

The head of Uzbekistan signed a corresponding resolution approving an international treaty.

The document was signed on 21 June 2022 in the city of Tashkent during the visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan was designated as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was instructed to send the Azerbaijani side an appropriate notification on the implementation by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the said international treaty, as well as on the competent authority responsible for its implementation.
