Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree titled “On the Approval of an International Agreement.”

According to the document, an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Russian Federation on providing technical assistance to Uzbekistan in the field of metrology has been approved.

The agreement was signed on 27 May 2024, in Tashkent during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Uzbekistan.

As per the decree, Uzbekistan’s Agency for Technical Regulation has been designated as the competent authority responsible for implementing this international agreement.

The Cabinet of Ministers, along with the heads of relevant ministries and departments, will oversee the fulfillment of the agreement’s terms once it comes into effect according to the established procedures.
