President of Turkmenistan to visit Uzbekistan in autumn

The Turkmen foreign ministry said that on 1-2 June 2015, the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan had a working visit to Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit took place on 1-2 June 2015.

The political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries were held during the working visit.

The issues related to the preparation of the upcoming official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed within the framework of consultations.

Particularly, the sides reviewed the drafts of the documents, which were supposed to be signed during the visit. Also, the wide range of important issues of common interest of the international agenda has been considered.
