President of Slovakia Arrives in Uzbekistan on Working Visit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini has arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit, Dunyо Agency reports.

At the international airport of Samarkand, the distinguished guest was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other officials.

The visit program includes high-level talks in Samarkand, during which the parties will discuss prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.

In addition, Peter Pellegrini will participate as an honored guest in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which opens on 30 October.
