President of Serbia to Make Official Visit to Uzbekistan from 28 to 31 October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, will visit Uzbekistan on an official trip from 28 to 31 October.

During his stay in Tashkent, high-level talks are scheduled to discuss the prospects for further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia.

The discussions will focus on strengthening partnerships in key economic sectors, including mechanical engineering, the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceuticals, information technology, digitalization, and tourism, as well as other priority areas.

Special attention will be given to issues of organized labor migration, cultural, humanitarian, and educational cooperation, as well as an exchange of views on current international affairs. Following the talks, a package of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed.

Additionally, Aleksandar Vučić will participate as an honorary guest in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which is set to open this week in Samarkand.
