President of Kazakhstan Arrives in Uzbekistan for State Visit

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit. The high-ranking guest was welcomed at Tashkent–Humo International Airport by the President of Uzbekistan.

Upon arrival, the leaders of the two countries held a discussion, exchanging views on the prospects for further deepening Uzbek-Kazakh relations, strategic partnership, and alliance.

According to the visit program, high-level talks and the second session of the Supreme Interstate Council are scheduled for 15 November.

The summit is expected to mark the launch of major joint projects and the signing of a package of bilateral documents aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
